8 Treasures Qigong (Ba Duan Jin) has been passed down through the generations as an exercise set to maintain excellent health, wellness and increase vitality. This Qigong set has eight routines that help to expand breathing capacity, increase energy and blood flow, strengthen the legs and torso, increase flexibility as well as calm the body and mind. It is a deceptively simple routine that yields great benefits to the conscientious practitioner. Individual routines may be practiced to help support tension release from daily work, to provide an energy lift during a long day or improve relaxation and calm as the day winds down. When practiced in full, the 8 Treasures is a comprehensive set of stretching routines that are easy to integrate and practice for whole-body wellbeing.
